St Day - 15th Feb 2009

Autospeed opened its doors to 2009 with the season opener kicking off at the United Downs Raceway, St Day with a four formula spectacular. Four formulas racing were the National Bangers with their world qualifying round, the Bangers formerly known as Bangerstox, the Stock Rods Winter Supreme Championship and the Ministox. There were a total of 13 races on the day which have all been filmed with live race commentary. Highlights from this meeting include the National Bangers with some big crashes with 341 “Jonesey” heavily involved with a burial on 241 Liam Cracknell and a destructive hit on 997 “MooRan”. The Bangers were also very lively with some track blockages and lots of carnage as ever also including 860 Dan Perryman driving his battered Civic wreck round the circuit. There is also some tight racing in the Stock Rods and as ever lots of contact in the Ministox with a few rollovers also. This DVD includes a specially edited menu, intro sequence, all the races in full, on board National Banger footage from Midnight Runner star 190 Steve “Pikey” Bailey and a short highlights sequence to round off the DVD!.
