Smeatharpe Stadium held its second annual summer august Speedweekend which was held on the 16th and 17th August with the 16th holding qualifying for the Brisca F2 Stock Cars and National Saloon Stock Cars National Championships which were supported by the Stock Rods this also includes the Young Guns Championship for F2s, the meeting was held on a very wet evening with lots and lots of bumper bashing action with a big crash in the F2’s for 315 Justin Fisher and 676 Neil Hooper who climb all over each other, a big pile up in one of the Saloons early heats of the night and some very close action racing from the Stock Rods. 17th was the big day the Nationals championships for both the Saloons and F2’s with grids set there was to be some superb racing which can be seen on the DVD also the Micro Bangers have their fair share of action in supporting the Stock Car formulas with the teen sensations championship also on offer in the F2’s. This DVD is a 3-disc set of the weekend with all the races in full and the Sundays racing with a 2 camera edit capturing most of the afternoon’s action, both days include intro sequences and highlights package with all having DVD menus as well to help you skip through the DVD to the best bits you like!
