Welcome to the first installment of the Metal Bending series for 2011, this edition being part 1, with footage from January to June. This compilation features all of the best crashes we have captured from around the UK along with Northern Ireland and even Europe across 35 meetings we have covered. Action from venues such as Smeatharpe, St Day, Ringwood, Angmering, Ringwood Cheetahs, Brampton, Kings Lynn, Swaffham, Nutts Corner in Ireland and Speedway Emmen in Holland. Main highlights on this DVD feature 215 Young Bully’s caging of 710 Herbert the Teeth at Icebreaker along with the jacking train involving 880 Naisy, 776 Groomy and 711 Chunk. 268 Slick Rick’s monster head on at Ringwood with 256. 521 Ace Ash’s follow in on 271 at Shamwreck which sees the 271 Jag fold dramatically plus 194 Buses monster T-bone on 474 Matty. 341 Jonesey’s wrecking spree at Boneshaker. 51 Sleepy following 842 Munch at Brampton. The wrecking trains at the all Yank bash over in Holland with 101 Pink Incs massive roof bender on 959 Matty seeing them roll on impact. This DVD includes a DVD menu page, introduction sequence, crashes from the various meetings chaptered which also include slow motion footage of the big crashes and on track wreck footage then a tightly edited highlights sequence which concludes the DVD in style. Main highlights on this DVD feature 116 Klokkie’s mental blitzing of 885 Mr Cumshot at Emmen in September leaving 885s car severely squashed. 01 Kyle Shires roof bender on 521 Ace Ash at Brampton, 791 Tricky’s monster follow in on 221 Delboy at Grimley, 341 Jonesey’s mental head on with 313 Cattell at Ringwood, epic action at the Blockbuster with an influx of massive hits with 421 Nutty Niges spectacular caging of 47 Marcus A’Lee’s hearse. 252 Boogie in fine wrecking form at both Ringwood & at Cheetahs, hard action at the Emmen Blue Oyster with several big hits & jacking trains & 521 Ace Ash’s fine blitzing of 162 Bad Boy at the UK Open. Metal Bending 2006 part 1 by DT Videos has a wide range of crashes from round the banger racing world from January to June. There are some huge crashes on this DVD from such tracks as Standlake Arena, Taunton, Warton, Worthing, Ringwood, St. Day, Bristol, Sheffield and Horndean. There is non stop action on this tape with so many huge hits it is hard to short list them but highlights come from Taunton’s Winter Open with many follow ins and jackings with 120 Shane Brown being absolutely brilliant in his one off come back meeting. Other highlights include 42 Messer’s hearse getting absolutely decimated at the 3 litre open at Standlake Arena by 311 “Helm”. Team Blacks war continues at the Metal Mania with the Bears, the posh wash/mental war also at Ringwood in the 2 domestic banger meetings. Other action comes from the West Country once again with the Boneshaker, Thunderbolt and of course the excellent Crasharama; all three of these meetings produce excellent action with huge crash at Bristol being the highlight of these meetings. We also have some footage from Sheffield’s Battle of Britain with the awesome crash with 169 Jason Thompson and all the top teams in banger racing crashing it out on a very wet track.
